Regulatory Alerts

This company has not been reported by any regulatory authority

Ikon Markets might look like a nice trading platform at first, but wait; there’s a big problem.

Canada’s Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) says it’s not allowed to take your money and could be a scam. That’s scary, and it means you might lose everything if you use it.

I checked out all I could find and wrote this review in easy English to help you decide. Honestly, it’s probably best to avoid it.

What’s Ikon Markets?

Ikon Markets says it’s a trading company at 21 Park Royal Rd, London NW10 7LQ, United Kingdom.

They let you trade things like currencies (Forex), indices, cryptocurrencies (like Bitcoin), stocks (through CFDs), and commodities (like gold or oil) with one account.

Their websites are ikonmarkets.com, ikonmarkets.com, and ikon-bot.com. They promise quick trades, safe accounts, and ways to make your money grow. But the AMF warning makes that hard to believe.

What They Offer

Here’s what they say you get:

  1. Bundles: A special mix of assets their team picks. You trade one Bundle and cover lots of markets. It’s good if you want something simple.
  2. Stuff to Trade: They have currencies, indices, crypto, stocks, and commodities. Plenty of choices.
  3. Easy Tools: Their web and phone platforms are simple. They might use TradingView for charts and info, good for new or experienced traders.
  4. AI Tool: At ikonbot.com, they have an “Ikon Markets Ai Signals Indicator.” It’s a smart tool that chooses trades for you using old data. You can try it free with a demo account.
  5. Borrowing: You can borrow money to trade more. It’s risky—you might win big or lose big.
  6. Fast Sign Up: They say it takes just minutes to join, with safe ways to add or take out money.
  7. Help Team: You can chat with them online if you need support.

Big Trouble: AMF Warning

Here’s the bad news.

The AMF in Canada put Ikon Markets on its warning list. They’re not signed up or okayed to take money from people in Québec. That’s a huge sign it might be fake.

The AMF says crooks often trick people with social media or websites, and Ikon Markets could be one. Without rules to protect you, your money might disappear.

Is Your Money Safe?

They say they keep your info and cash safe with encryption. That sounds fine, but they don’t tell us who checks on them there is no word about regulators like the FCA in the UK or CySEC in Cyprus.

That was already a worry, and now the AMF says they’re not legit. This looks like a big risk. You could lose it all with no help.

What People Think

I found some comments online, but they feel off now:

Trustify360: Rated it 4.85 out of 5 from 40 people—85% gave five stars. Here’s what they said:

  • William from Sweden liked it for currencies and commodities, said money comes out fast.
  • Emma in Finland said it’s safe for crypto and the help is good.
  • James in Canada found it easy for stocks with low costs.
  • Ella from Sweden said it’s great for starters with nice guides.
  • Alexander in Finland called it smooth and money making.

TechBullion (Jan 17, 2025): A sponsored article said it’s “changing lives” for European traders with great tools.

These sound good, but there’s almost nothing on sites like Trustpilot. With the AMF warning, I’m not sure those reviews are real or still true.

Be careful.

More Problems

Besides the AMF alert, there’s other stuff to watch:

  • No Rules Info: They don’t say who makes sure they’re honest. Real platforms always tell you that.
  • Name Mix Up: Other companies like IKON Global Markets (closed after a $22.9 million scam in 2017) and IKON Finance (stopped in 2017) had close names. Ikon Markets seems new, but it’s confusing.
  • Not Much Known: With few reviews and no clear past, it’s hard to trust them.

How It Looks Next to Others

Compare it to a safe platform like IC Markets, which has rules from ASIC and CySEC, and Ikon Markets feels dangerous. IC Markets has protection but Ikon Markets doesn’t. The AI tool and Bundles are neat, but not worth the trouble.

Should You Try It?

I say no way. The AMF warning is like a big “stop” sign. Ikon Markets might have cool stuff like Bundles and AI trading, but if they’re fake, it’s useless.

Those nice reviews don’t beat the chance of losing your money. You deserve a safer place for your cash.

If you still want to peek:

  • Try their demo account on ikonbot.com to test it with no risk.
  • Ask their help team about the AMF warning and rules. Push for real answers.
  • Look online or on X for new stories and see if people got hurt.

I’d give Ikon Markets a low score. It’s got some good ideas, but the scam risk is too big. Stick to platforms you know are safe until they prove they’re okay if they ever can.
